This was a quick story and was a quirky read. The wife was a supreme nag and I'm surprised the husband tolerated her as long as he did. Ms. Atkins did a great job as usual in pulling the reader into the scene. I read it at lunch and recommend that not be done such was the vividness of the descriptions.
A great short from one of my favorite authors. It makes me want to go back and reread all her romantic suspenses.
This is a tightly crafted story that speaks volumes. Harold and Evelyn could be members of my own family, and certainly live in your town. I think this is the kind of quick read that will give you a nice little grin when you have one of those days. Enjoy.Heads You Win, Tails You Lose
